ayble trade fair guide
What types of exhibition stands are there?
There are row stands, corner stands, head stands and island stands. All variants can be mapped with a modular system.
What is the difference between a row stand, a corner stand and a head stand?
Row stand: only one open side, corner stand: two open sides, head stand: three open sides, island stand: four open sides.
Consider whether you want to exhibit flexibly at various trade fairs or are looking for a permanent brand presence. Systems like ayble offer both: professional design, easy handling and high reusability.
What do you have to consider when planning an exhibition stand?
When planning an exhibition stand, the stand size and location at the trade fair are crucial. The target group is defined and the design is planned. The assembly of the exhibition stand is commissioned or done yourself. The ayble system requires no prior knowledge. Last but not least, transport and storage must be considered. Good planning takes into account routing, visibility and brand impact.
Can you build an exhibition stand yourself?
Yes – with modular systems like ayble’s, self-assembly is easily possible. All elements are pluggable, can be assembled without tools and can be reused multiple times.
How high can you build at a trade fair?
The maximum construction height varies depending on the exhibition center and hall. As a rule, a maximum of 2.5 – 4 meters is permitted. A permit from the organizer is required for double-storey constructions or special heights. If you have a visible rear wall, it must be covered in white on most trade fairs from a construction height of 2.5 m.
How long does it take to set up an exhibition stand?
A modular stand can be set up in just a few hours. For larger, individual exhibition stands, the set-up can take one to two days.
Can you rent an exhibition stand instead of buying it?
Yes, many stand construction companies offer rental systems. This is ideal if you only exhibit occasionally or want to test new concepts. Both purchase and rental models are available at ayble.
What lighting is suitable for exhibition stands?
LED lighting is energy-saving and flexible. Rail systems, spotlights and integrated illuminated walls that optimally showcase products and brand messages are particularly popular.
How much does an exhibition stand space cost at a trade fair?
The stand rental is determined by the organizer and depends on the square meterage. The usual rate is €150 – 300 per m² for floor space rental. In addition, there are additional costs such as electricity, cleaning and stand construction.
How do I transport an exhibition stand?
Modular systems can be packed compactly and transported in a car, van or by forwarding agent. At ayble, all components are transport-optimized and reusable.
How can you design an exhibition stand sustainably?
Sustainable stands are made of recyclable materials and can be used multiple times. Ayble’s modular system reduces transport volume and waste – ideal for resource-saving exhibiting.
What is part of the trade fair preparation?
Preparation includes defining goals, stand design, personnel planning, marketing materials and lead capture. In addition, set-up and dismantling times as well as transport should be planned in advance.
How do you attract visitors to the exhibition stand?
An appealing design, open stand design, interactive elements and clear brand messages are particularly inviting. Social media posts before the trade fair also increase the number of visitors.
What furniture do you need on an exhibition stand?
Depending on the goal: standing tables, bar stools, showcases, counters, lounge furniture and displays. It is important that the furniture matches the design concept and supports the brand image.
How can I reuse my exhibition stand?
Modular systems can be assembled and disassembled as often as required. You can use the modules in a different shape or size at new events – sustainable and cost-efficient.

Is ayble B1 certified?
Our frame system is made of aluminum and is therefore non-flammable. The graphic panels used are all fire protection certified with B1 according to DIN 4102-1.
How much weight can I hang?
approx. 30 kg per frame.
Can I attach a monitor? If so, which one?
You can attach any TV, LED, plasma and LCD device to our trade fair system that complies with the VESA standard 400 x 400 mm. VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) is an international agreement on uniform mounting systems for flat screens. Contact us if you are unsure whether your flat screen meets these requirements.
I need storage space, is that possible?
Whether for giveaways, employee wardrobes, as a bag hiding place or a secret pantry – storage space is essential at every trade fair to ensure order and cleanliness. Counter and cabin solutions are ideal for creating visual highlights and at the same time some privacy and storage space.
Is the cabin lockable?
Our door and counter system can be locked on request. However, the lock is only of limited use for burglary protection, as our graphic panels are attached using magnetic tape and can be removed in no time at all. The following applies to every event: take as few valuables with you as possible and never leave them unattended.
Can I also print on the counter?
Our trade fair counters can be designed with graphic panels according to your wishes. The counter top can optionally also be made of wood.
Does the counter have an extra compartment?
Inside our trade fair counters, our wooden center board offers sufficient storage space for everything you have with you and want to make disappear.
How strong is the counter? Can I put a coffee machine or other heavy items down?
Our counters are very sturdily built and can withstand a lot (distributed loads of up to 30 kg). For a particularly strong appearance (with a load capacity of up to 120 kg), we have developed an extra heavy-duty counter top. Our counters are much more load-bearing than most other mobile trade fair counters.
Can I also use the exhibition stand outdoors?
Our graphic panels and our anodized aluminum frames are also a stable and representative solution outside of exhibition halls. However, it should not be exposed to wind and rain, just like your customers. However, we have an extra outdoor line that is wind and waterproof.
Do you also set up exhibition stands?
On request, our team will take care of your set-up and dismantling, the associated trade fair planning or even the transport.
Do you also store?
Our logistics team ensures that your system is well stowed, safely stored and in perfect condition for future use.
